convenient location and friendly service

convenient locationhelpful staffentry proceduresroom cleanliness
I was pleased with the convenient location and the available facilities. It made exploring the area easy. i arrived a bit early, so i could not check in immediately, but the staff allowed me to leave my car in the car park. cariad was especially helpful, showing me to my room and explaining the after-hours entry procedures. the pub food was good. The chef prepared a good steak for me.
The room needed a deeper clean. I noticed some cobwebs on the ceilings that required attention. it was a bit of an oversight that impacted my overall impression.

comfortable stay in excellent location

assistant managercheerful servicesmooth experiencemusic volume
i was impressed by the dedication of the assistant manager . she managed many responsibilities effectively, providing cheerful service and going above expectations. her efforts, combined with the help from her friends, allowed for a smooth experience despite staffing challenges. i found her a true star, handling difficult circumstances with grace.
i noted that the music in the bar and lounge created some disturbance , as different music played at similar volumes. this made conversation difficult and required us to ask for an adjustment. while addressed upon request, this issue slightly detracted from the overall experience.

the location proved quite convenient. the staff were friendly.
my room was hardly inviting. the decor looked rather tired, and i noticed a layer of dust atop the picture rail. the outside space looked unkempt, so i didn't felt encouraged to sit outside.
